Awarded for the promotion of wine tourism and the recovery of heritage
This recognition is especially important to us, as it values the very essence of what we do every day at Bodegas Valdelana. We have been awarded in the TOURISM category specifically “for our work in promoting wine tourism and the recovery of heritage”.

This mention touches us deeply, because it sums up the heart of our project. At Valdelana, our passion for wine has always gone hand in hand with respect and admiration for the history preserved in our underground cellars and in the land of Rioja Alavesa.

Our wine tourism is more than a tasting; it is an experience, a journey through time, and a constant effort to keep the legacy of our ancestors alive and accessible. Every excavated tunnel, every restored stone and every guided tour is designed so that visitors live an authentic experience and feel that unique connection with the land we love so much.
A boost to continue investing in wine tourism
We would like to sincerely thank the Basque Government for this award. It is an incentive to continue committing to a sustainable, high-quality wine tourism model. It reminds us that the effort to preserve our traditions while looking to the future is bearing fruit.

Thank you to everyone who accompanies us on this journey, and especially to our team, who strive every day to make the Valdelana experience unforgettable.
We will continue working with the same enthusiasm and passion for wine, heritage and our beloved Rioja Alavesa!
