One more year, the renowned critic James Suckling has published his annual review of Spanish wines. On this occasion, the American spent a few days in Rioja, where he tasted more than 2100 wines from the national territory. Among those wines were several from Bodegas Valdelana.
Agnvs, Familia Valdelana and Duquesa de la Victoria are the brands whose wines have been best valued by Suckling, all of them receiving more than 90 points.

We remember that James Suckling is one of the most recognized oenological critics in the world. Among other things, he is the director of the prestigious magazine Wine Spectator. It is fortunate that Suckling could enjoy a few summer days in our beloved land. Here he was in the company of his son, who helped him in this tasting of more than 2100 Spanish wines.
In this video you can see something else about his trip through Rioja. Although we couldn’t meet him personally, we want to thank him for such recognitions and tell everyone that we will continue working to offer the best wine possible.
